Introduction:
As a part of GDSC web developers task I decided to make my own website to show off my skills, projects, and experiences. This was a fun way for me to practice making websites and also to share what I've been working on.
Design Choices:
First, I drew out how I wanted the website to look on paper. I picked colors and fonts that I liked. I wanted the website to look clean and modern.
Writing the Code:
I started by writing the code for the website. I used HTML for the structure and CSS for making it look nice. I organized the content into different sections like "About Me," "My Works," and "Contact Me." I also made sure the website would look good on phones and computers.
Adding Special Features:
I used a bit of JavaScript to make the website more interactive. For example, I made a tab system in the "About Me" section so people can switch between seeing my skills and education. It was like adding a little extra magic to the website!
Challenges I Faced:
I had some tricky parts along the way. Making sure the website looked good on all different sizes of screens was a bit tough. I also had to test it on different web browsers to make sure everything worked right.
What I Learned:
I learned a lot about making websites! I got better at using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also figured out how to make sure my website works well on all kinds of devices. Fixing problems in the code became easier too.
Conclusion:
Making my own portfolio website was a really cool experience. I'm happy with how it turned out. Now, I can use it to show people what I've done and maybe even find new opportunities!
Future Plans:
I'm thinking about adding more projects to my website in the future. I might also learn how to do things on the "backend" of websites. I'll keep updating my website to show what I'm up to!
